Circle Lenses: GEO Angel Green, GEO Series Xtra: Lotus Green, Sunflower Brown, Morning Glory Blue. Revew
Hi Everybody!!! Greeting to the beautiful blogger -ME!!! :P Actually I used a lot of photoshop, but only because I have a lot of acne scars. I did not touch eye area so you will have idea how contacts look, and what is the pattern. I am going to review GEO Circle Lenses: Angel Green, GEO Series Xtra: Lotus Blue, Sunflower Brown, Morning Glory Green.
GEO Angel Green

Lotus Blue. Series Flower. Obviously it has bigger diameter of 15 mm.
They have very beautiful pattern. Unfortunately color blue is really dark, the fact that my eye is hooded does not help. Hooded eye gives more shade, so it is even darker. (You can tell how hard I am working on opening my eye very wide, so you will be able to have view of the blue pattern). This color and pattern is definitely for light colored European eyes. (or for dark eyed people who wants very settle change). It looks very good with brown eyeshadow, create really pretty contrast.
Lotus Blue. Series Xtra.

Sunflower Brown, Usually people who buys brown circle lenses are looking for settle change and noticeable enlargement, Sunflower Brown does that very well. Pattern almost unnoticeable.
So even though I rated it 4 of 5 in Dramatic Change and Color visibility. I am very pleased with the results.

Ulzzang - The Best Face - Make up tutorial, Illustrated
| Meet Emma. She is our theoretical Ulzzang. I read somewhere that you are not born as Ulzzang but you can become one. Emma will prove that :). Emma has round face, monolids, full lips, few pimples... And good potential to become uzzlang. | ||
| Step1. Wash your face, moisturize if you have dry skin. That way make up will stay longer | ||
| Step2. Put on your Circle Lenses. It is important to do that before applying any make up. While your hands are clean. And it is also unavoidable step (Unless you already have natural big anime eyes). Black or Brown Circle Lenses used traditionally. Use Circle lenses from GEO - Series Xtra for extra size. | ||
Step 3. Optional. If you have non-asian eyes or you one of the lucky asians that happened to have double lid, skip this step :P For the rest of us: use tape, glue, or string to create double-lid
Step 4. Use concealer to cover imperfections. Touch area around your eyes - if you tend to have under-eye-circles.
Step 5. Apply your favorite foundation.
Step 6. Powder. To make your skin look sooth , delicate, and soft.
Step 7. Apply THIN layer of light eyeshadow to your lid.
Step 8. Eyeliner. Please make sure that it is not to think or too thin.
Step 9. Apply false eyelashes. Curl your own eyelashes first, so they will be "synchronized" with false ones. And remember to use thin false eyelashes.
Step 10. Mascara. Apply Evenly
Step 11. Optional. Apply lower eyelashes. Most of the time you have to buy those separately. With some practice and some imagination you can turn your spare false eyelashes into lower rim
Step 12. Highlight inner corner of your eye. That little detail makes huge difference.
Step 13. What finish with pink-nude lip-gloss. Dark colors will distract from eyes and contradict ulzzang concept of light-skin, big eye, anime look.
Here is how it will look if we speed it up. Enjoy. |

Circle Lenses- SAFTY FIRST
I know there is being a lot of talk about how bad, if bad at all this new trend. And Is it new.
Some say Lady GAGA started it, Youtube make-up guru continued it, World followed. Well may be there are some people who did not know about circle contact lenses before. And those who wore them for years started to question their safety?
Well short answer is: YES, It is SAFE.
Here is long answer that will answer WHY?:
If person take care of his/her lenses and religiously follow routine of cleaning and storing, there should be no problem. After all circle lenses are the same as regular lenses, They even made from FDA approved materials, lenses themselves for some reason are not approved. So no doctor (worried about liability issue) will prescribe you circle lenses. Lenses however approved by all asian counties.
(I personally think: By putting away US FDA approval process, GEO, EOS and other circle lenses manufacturers have lost and continue loosing big potential market share)
So if you bought you circle lenses online, follow instructions in the box. (If you do not have instructions go on official site of manufacturer, or ask online store that you bought it from).
FAQ about safty:
Question: How long can I wear circle contact lenses?
Answer: about 6-8 hours, it is little less than most other types of brands, because of water percentage.

Question: How long can I use them? 2 months, 12 months
Answer: You can store unopened bottle for 3 years!!! (Shelf life)
And In you case for a year, according to manufacturer. I would suggest to be on the safe side and not to use them for more than 3 months. Special ultrasonic cleaners may make their life little longer.
Question: I am so excited about my new circle lenses, Can I wear them right from the box?
Answer: No. Solution in the bottle/vial/blister is for storage (for 3 years), you may burn your eye. It is not as bad as it sounds, just some redness. But you defiantly want to keep them in regular solution at list for 6 hours.
